I just discovered a phenomenon using BaseCamp which I assume is caused by the program but I could be totally wrong.  While creating a test route on a curvy road I discovered the route would not follow the road immediately after each waypoint similar to the screen-capture I have included.  If someone would confirm or refute what I have seen,  this would help me determine the cause of this routing error.

I have never noticed this problem in any of my routes before but maybe I never looked close enough.  And this route I was experimenting with was not loaded into a GPS to see how it reacted to this problem.  I am guessing the GPS would probably ignore this problem or maybe it does not happen in a GPS,  just BaseCamp.

I am using City Nav 2015.2 and BaseCamp 4.4.2.  on a Windows machine.
